Do you have an engineering degree and broad strokes knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering? (mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, systems)
Are you interested in product safety?
Would you like to work in the rail sector?
This could be the role for you!
We're looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer with a keen interest in engineering safety and a desire to work in the railway sector. This isn't a hands-on R&D position, but you'll be crucial in defining requirements based on safety standards within our development projects. You'll be involved at every stage of the project lifecycle, from raising assumptions and requirements in tenders to specifying aspects for project design and generating justification documentation. Working with a small organisation, you may also contribute to other engineering aspects related to your background. We encourage identifying areas for improvement, and your suggestions will be heard and considered by the R&D team.
You'll be part of a small, dynamic organisation that values your input and encourages discussion. This is a niche but vital role within the engineering discipline, offering a great opportunity to specialise in product safety within the rail industry. We recognize this is not a typical graduate role and are looking for individuals who are genuinely interested in making a significant impact in a specialised field. There will be limited hands on R&D work as part of this post.
