Our client seeks a Housing Solutions Officer to play a crucial role in assisting people in the local community facing homelessness. The main focus will be on ensuring successful tenancies and satisfaction for both landlords and tenants, managing the letting process from start to finish.
Day-to-day of the role:- Negotiate with landlords to secure housing options for clients.
- Match customers to appropriate properties based on their needs and preferences.
- Conduct property viewings and manage tenancy sign-ups.
- Engage in homeless prevention activities, providing support and solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently with high motivation and initiative.
- Experience in housing, social work, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
