Category Procurement Specialist - FM, Property & Business Service/ Band 7 starting salary of £46,148 per annum/ Sheffield Office base with flexible working

Client Details

Two exciting opportunities have arisen for a Category Procurement Specialist to join the Category Procurement Team at NOE CPC. The North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) is a collaborative procurement organisation based in Sheffield and hosted by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT). This organisation aims to deliver best value procurement outcomes for the NHS through collaborative working. Reporting to the Category Manager - FM, Property & Business Services, these roles are responsible for developing a category management approach to assigned categories, and leading the associated public procurement and category management projects in these major category areas to deliver best value outcomes for NHS customers. One role will be focussed on FM & Property and one role on Business Services, however flexibility to work across both areas is required.

Description

As a Category Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Category Manager to manage a portfolio of framework agreements in the FM, Property & Business Services category
  • Ensure timely delivery of procurement and category projects against NOE CPC's workplan in line with our NHS customer requirements.
  • A pro-active focus on delivery of best value outcomes for NHS is essential.
  • Working with the Category Manager, Senior Category Manager and wider team, you will develop and enhance NOE CPC's impact in this category area through development of a category management approach including category strategy development and work-planning.
  • Leading the delivery of further competitions, in line with the relevant legislation including Public Contracts Regulations and the Procurement Act.

Profile

Who are you?

  • Relevant degree/MCIPS (or actively working towards)
  • Senior level procurement experience ideally in public sector) with good knowledge of public sector procurement regulations
  • Category specific (or equivalent) background & expertise ideally within the FM, Property or Business Servicesspace.
  • Evidence of working with diverse stakeholders and stakeholder groups (for example, customers/clients / collaborative groups)
  • Self motivated, flexible and keen to develop in the role.
