Heat Treatment Operative

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of manufacturing business that manufacture and distribute high performance alloys. They are seeking a Heat Treatment Operative to join their ever-expanding team at the Sheffield facility. Salary Range: £26,000 - £26,500 + Shift Allowance

Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Shift Pattern: Days, Afternoons & Nights.

Days Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

Afternoons Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 1pm to 9pm (20% Shift Allowance)

Nights Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8pm to 6am (33% Shift Allowance)Duties and Responsibilities:

• Goods receipt and despatch of material to ensure traceability of material though correct use of administration procedure.
• ID material before and after heat treatment, highlight and report any anomalies, to change-hand and or Heat Treatment Manager.
• Charge makeup / break down – Ensure correct make-up of charge in line with Heat Treatment reports.
• Straightening / Brinelling – Working to deadlines to meet customers’ demands.
• To work in accordance with the Company’s Health and safety and Environment Policies.

Skills and Experience:

• Fork lift & Side loader driving - Training will be given
• Manual Handling techniques – Training will be given
• Previous experience of working within Heat Treatment
