CNC Machinist- Double Days
A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineeringdepartment with the appointment of a CNC Machinist.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire,the CNC Machinistwill be responsible for:
- Online Programming & operating of CNC machinery
- Selection of tooling and set up- Cutter and holders
- Selection and set up of work piece holding devices- Set up fixtures/vices/clamping systems
- Interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
- Monitoring of machines performance, making adjustments to program data (Speeds, Feeds etc)
- In process and Post process inspection using both visual and precision measuring tool methods
- Operation of Heidenhain /Fanuc CNC Control systems
- Create components within specification to engineering drawings
- Work with programming team to feedback information for machining programme efficiency improvements
- Support in all aspects of Fixture assembly cell manufacturing.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of an Apprenticeship and 3 axis CNC experience.
