- Lead and deliver monthly/quarterly financial reports and KPIs for group finance, with insightful commentary.
- Perform detailed variance and trend analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations of the balance sheet.
- Manage working capital, optimise liquidity, and ensure robust cash flow planning.
- Oversee statutory accounts, audits, and tax submissions (GAAP, IFRS, IAS compliance).
- Drive the annual budgeting process in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Enhance internal controls and financial governance (including J-SOX compliance).
- Champion digital finance transformation and automation initiatives.
- Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues across the UK, Europe, and Japan.
- Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
- Strong grasp of financial systems; Oracle Cloud experience is a bonus.
- Analytical thinker with a commercial mindset.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments (highly desirable).
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Background in audit is a plus.
