About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking dedicated professionals to join our expanding team. Are you looking for a unique career within the cruise industry as an IPM Consultant? You will travel to and sail with the ships worldwide to conduct audits, ensuring effective IPM systems (Integrated Pest Management systems)are in place. The role involves evaluating compliance, providing essential training, and supporting ship crews in maintaining industry-leading IPM procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Audit and Compliance: conduct onboard IPM audits, assess compliance, recommend improvements, and, where necessary, undertake chemical treatments.
Training and Development: deliver engaging IPM training sessions to crews of up to 2,000 attendees.
Public Health Standards: ensure compliance with global public health regulations.
Reporting and Documentation: competently prepare detailed audit reports and documentation proficiently using Microsoft Suite.
Communication and Support: provide clear guidance and instruction to ship personnel on IPM best practices.
Physical Ability: a level of physical ability is required to perform duties effectively, such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, carrying personal luggage and company equipment, and safely navigating uneven and potentially slippery surfaces, gangways, and ladders.
International Travel: attend cruise ships globally, experiencing diverse cultures and environments.
Office-Based Duties: work from our Shoreham-by-Sea office when not conducting audits.
