We are looking for a Heritage Consultant to join this growing team. You will be office based but expected to travel for site meetings and visits.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working with public and private sector clients and be confident communicating across the board.

This role requires a mix of analytical skills and practical knowledge, to ensure provide expert advice and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out heritage impact assessments
  • Advise on statutory consents
  • Manage any appeal processes
  • Working with the team, advise on heritage led regeneration projects
  • Site analysis and desk based archival research
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarising findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements relevant to consulting practices.

Skills

  • Related degree e.g Town Planning, Urban Design, Architecture
  • Relevant professional accreditation
  • Experience within heritage planning or building conservation
  • Confidence in advising clients, stakeholders and project teams
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and ArcGIS Pro
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle
