We are recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Shrewsbury. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January, with full classroom responsibilities including planning, teaching, assessment, and marking.
The school has a warm and inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and a committed team that works collaboratively to ensure every pupil thrives. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for a supportive environment to grow and develop.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment and marking
Maintain high expectations for pupils' learning, progress, and behaviour
Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching and learning across the school
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A passion for inspiring and motivating pupils
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
