The Role:

A leading legal practice is seeking a dedicated Family Solicitor to join its busy Shrewsbury office. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload across all areas of family law, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial settlements
  • Private law children matters

This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time hours available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing your own caseload of Family Law matters independently
  • Providing expert advice on divorce, finance and private children cases
  • Drafting legal documentation and submissions in line with current legislation and SRA regulations
  • Delivering outstanding client care and building strong client relationships
  • Engaging in business development and marketing to grow the department’s profile
  • Using case management systems effectively to ensure compliance and efficiency

Your Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2+ years PQE in Family Law
  • Strong knowledge and experience of divorce, finance and private children work
  • Excellent drafting, communication and client care skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proactive, self-motivated and committed to professional development

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary between £40,000 – £50,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
