The Role:
A leading legal practice is seeking a dedicated Family Solicitor to join its busy Shrewsbury office. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload across all areas of family law, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial settlements
- Private law children matters
This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time hours available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing your own caseload of Family Law matters independently
- Providing expert advice on divorce, finance and private children cases
- Drafting legal documentation and submissions in line with current legislation and SRA regulations
- Delivering outstanding client care and building strong client relationships
- Engaging in business development and marketing to grow the department’s profile
- Using case management systems effectively to ensure compliance and efficiency
Your Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2+ years PQE in Family Law
- Strong knowledge and experience of divorce, finance and private children work
- Excellent drafting, communication and client care skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proactive, self-motivated and committed to professional development
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary between £40,000 – £50,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
