What You’ll Be Doing:As an HMP Nurse, you will deliver high-quality care to offenders, manage a diverse range of physical and mental health conditions, and contribute to the overall rehabilitation process. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering essential primary care, mental health support, and emergency response services.

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need a valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN). Valid prison clearance essential. Strong clinical assessment, risk management, along with experience working within a multidisciplinary team, are essential. Sound knowledge of the Care Programme Approach (CPA), safeguarding policies, and mental health legislation is also required.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role offers a flexible working position, requiring full-time availability. The contract is initially for 3-6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
