Job Title: Supervising Social Worker

Hourly Rate: 33.30

Work Pattern: Hybrid working approach. Ability to work more at home with occasional office presence.

Key Requirements

  • Being a member and team player of an established Support and development service.
  • Having a good knowledge and experience working in accordance to Fostering regs, NMS standards
  • Understanding and able to ensure all compliance for foster parents is updated, recorded on LCS.
  • Communicate and support foster parents with trauma informed understanding and therapeutic principles.
  • To supervise foster carers ensuring all key areas of the role are discussed, recorded and challenged where necessary.
  • To carry a case load of foster parents and complete all tasks in accordance to the role of SSW.
  • To be able to be efficient recording fostering annual reviews and when required to present to panel.
  • To attend team meetings and work as part of the team supporting others where necessary.
  • To be part of a duty rota, supporting foster carers, completing viability assessments when required. Twice per month.

Skills & Experience

  • A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Committed to supporting children, young people and their families and has the resilience to go that extra mile to ensure they achieve their potential.
  • UK driving license
  • 3 Years post qualifying experience
