We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Services Programme Manager to lead public sector procurement and contract mobilisation projects. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in project delivery, deep knowledge of fleet services, and familiarity with public procurement regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, risk registers, and communication strategies to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
  • Engage with stakeholders across departments to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on project objectives.
  • Manage the transition of contracts and onboarding of suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and operational requirements.
  • Oversee the specification of requirements and key performance indicators for tender processes, ensuring effective supplier selection and early market engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in public sector procurement and contract mobilisation.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of public procurement regulations (PCR 2015 / Procurement Act 2023).
  • Technical knowledge in fleet services, technical services, or similar operational environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using document management systems like SharePoint or Box.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; capable of working autonomously and managing competing priorities.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, CIPS) is highly desirable.
