A design-led, multidisciplinary construction consultancy is looking for a confident Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with Employers Agent experience to take on a client-facing role, delivering meaningful projects across the affordable housing and residential sectors.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will become part of a well-established consultancy of around 60 professionals, known for delivering high-quality Design & Build projects across the Residential sector. With a strong focus on social housing, they work closely with housing associations, local authorities, and registered providers.

Schemes typically range in value from 2m to 200m and include new-build residential blocks, regeneration projects, and mixed-tenure developments.

This is a diverse and hands-on position where the Quantity Surveyor will take a lead role from feasibility through to handover. The role combines traditional cost management with Employers Agent duties, offering a clear route to progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

To be considered for this Quantity Surveyor position, you should ideally have:

  • A RICS accredited degree
  • Employers Agent experience is a bonus not but essential
  • Background in social housing, affordable housing, or local authority-led projects
  • Good understanding of JCT Design & Build contracts
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy / PQS environment
