- Job Title - Production Line Leader
- Location: Faversham
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
- Hours: 12 hour shift pattern. (5 on, 2 off, or 4 on, 3 off
Daily Responsibilities:
- Day to day running of production packing line as smoothly
- Follow the Compliance and Health & Safety Rules
- Start up checks for the line.
- Prepare and set up the line efficiently.
- Collect packaging and labels from the packaging store, and ensure the QC checks all labels & packaging
- Work closely with picker/packer
- Complete all paperwork
- Ensure additional food & packaging is ordered when required
- To ensure QC’s are completed
- Ensure all packaging is removed from the line at the end of each job and returned to the packaging department and line is clean.
- Report to the Packhouse Manager
- Ensure all orders are completed.
- Paperwork is legible and completed in full.
- Ensure that all unused packaging is returned .
- Ensure the packing line and staff are compliant with Hygiene standards.
- Daily reports - P&L, downtime, rejection and overtime reports
Requirements
- Previous experience within Operation/Production/Warehouse
- Previous experience within the food industry
