About the Role:

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who can engage and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether you're a newly qualified teacher or bring years of experience, you’ll be supported by a collaborative Humanities department and a forward-thinking leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire students with a passion for the world around them, encouraging critical thinking and enquiry.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress to support continued academic growth.
  • Contribute to the life of the department and wider school, including enrichment opportunities where possible.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and challenged.

What We're Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Geography or a closely related subject.
  • Strong classroom practice with the ability to differentiate for mixed-ability groups.
  • Passion for geography and the ability to bring the subject to life.
  • Willingness to contribute to a dynamic department with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
