Supply Desk are proud to be working in partnership with a large, high-achieving mixed secondary school in Sittingbourne, which are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their dynamic Science Department on a full-time basis. The school has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and provides a welcoming and supportive environment for both staff and students.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a local Science Teacher looking for either a short-term or long-term position with the potential to contribute to planning and curriculum delivery.
The Role:
- Deliver General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience.
- Teach across all Science disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Work collaboratively within a well-resourced and experienced Science Department.
- Planning and marking may be required depending on the duration of the placement.

Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Confident teaching all three sciences at KS3 and KS4.
- Open to planning and marking responsibilities.
- Based in or near Sittingbourne with good transport options.
- Has a DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one.
- Available immediately and open to roles through December 2025.
