IPS Finance is seeking a Finance Manager for a leading support services company, offering a salary of £50,000 to £60,000 per year.
The role requires a part-qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with strong experience in accounting packages and advanced Excel skills.
Key responsibilities include overseeing management accounts, cashflows, budgets, and VAT returns, as well as leading a team of five finance professionals.
Candidates should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with confidence in presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
The position offers hybrid working with two days in the office each week and opportunities for professional development within an employee-owned business.

IPS Finance is handling a newly created Finance Manager role to join a leading support services company. This role will support the Group Finance Director in the day-to-day finance operations and lead a small finance team.This employee-owned business operates internationally and combine innovation with a strong commitment to client service. They pride themselves on supporting staff development and providing a collaborative, people-focused working environment.As Finance Manager, you will:

Report directly to the Group Finance Director
Oversee the production of management accounts, cashflows, budgets, and VAT returns.
Provide financial analysis, including variance reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support year-end processes, including audit deliverables and liaising with external auditors.
Present financial information to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Lead and develop a team of five finance professionals.

We are looking for a part-qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with:

Strong experience in accounting packages and advanced Excel skills.
Experience managing and developing a team.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Confidence in presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.

Desirable (not essential):

Knowledge of Sage/Xero and advanced excel skills.
Experience preparing financial information to support strategic and operational decisions.
