A modern business consultancy is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to lead its finance team. This is a pivotal role with a clear progression path toward a Finance Director position.About the RoleAs Finance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Managing a team of 7, you will lead the bookkeeping and management accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and operational excellence across the team.This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset. You’ll be instrumental in streamlining processes, improving systems, and supporting strategic decision-making as the business continues to grow.Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support a team of 7 finance professionals across bookkeeping and management accounts
Oversee preparation of accurate and timely management accounts and financial reporting
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools
Collaborate with senior leadership to support business performance and decision-making
Be a kek point of contact for external client relationships

What We’re Looking For:

AAT or qualified accountant seeking a move from practice or industry
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience with Xero or other cloud-based accounting software is highly desirable
Strong leadership skills and client facing
