This is a standout opportunity for a passionate Quality Assurance leader to take ownership of quality performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be at the heart of food safety, compliance and continuous improvement - empowering teams, strengthening systems, and ensuring every product meets the highest standards of safety, legality and quality.

What you'll be doing as the Quality Assurance Manager:

  • Lead site-wide quality assurance to ensure full compliance with BRCGS, major retailer standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide strong people leadership, supporting and developing Quality, Hygiene and Technical teams to deliver site objectives with confidence and consistency.
  • Own allergen management and product testing programs, ensuring robust controls, risk assessments and audit readiness in a high-risk environment.
  • Investigate, manage and resolve customer complaints, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions that deliver lasting improvement.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring documentation, hygiene systems and factory standards remain current and effective.
  • Support technical budget and resource planning, balancing compliance, capability and cost efficiency.
  • Build trusted relationships across operations, supply chain and external stakeholders, acting as a key technical interface.
  • Champion a culture of best practice, innovation and continuous improvement, embedding quality excellence at every level of the business.

What you'll need as the Quality Assurance Manager:

  • Experience within a UK food manufacturing quality assurance or technical role is essential to be considered
  • HACCP & Food Safety level 3 as a minimum
  • Experience with working with major retailers
  • Own transport
  • Full UK working rights are needed. No visas available
