The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Hotel Operations Manager to join a beautiful boutique country house hotel located in the heart of Buckinghamshire.

As Operations Manager, you will support the General Manager in leading the day-to-day running of this elegant property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient, profitable operations. You will be a hands-on leader with a strong focus on Food & Beverage, team development, and maintaining the high standards this property is renowned for.



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments, with a strong emphasis on F&B service and quality.

  • Support the delivery of an outstanding guest experience, maintaining the hotel's excellent reputation.

  • Drive operational and financial performance through effective cost control and revenue management.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop department heads and their teams to achieve consistent service excellence.

  • Work closely with the General Manager to deliver business objectives and brand standards.



Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Operations Manager or senior departmental manager within a boutique or country house hotel environment.

  • Strong operational understanding with an F&B bias and genuine passion for hospitality.

  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen with the ability to influence performance outcomes.

  • Natural leader with strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset.
