- Assisting the Sales Manager in planning and implementing strategies to maximise revenue.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in corporate, group, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure segments.
- Conducting regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to promote the hotel’s services and facilities.
- Responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally, preparing proposals and contracts as needed.
- Maintaining an accurate client database and ensuring effective tracking of leads, opportunities, and conversions using CRM tools.
- Assisting in the coordination of promotional events, trade shows, and familiarisation trips.
- Preparing and presenting reports and forecasts to management.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment on promotional campaigns and brand messaging.
- Providing support in handling VIP accounts and long-term business partnerships.
- Ensuring all customer interactions reflect the hotel’s commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales software (e.g., Opera)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
