- Developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets in rooms, groups, meetings, and events.
- Identifying new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting across corporate, leisure, group, and travel agency markets.
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients and proactively work to secure repeat business.
- Conducting site inspections, client presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
- Collaborating with marketing to create promotions, campaigns, and packages to support goals.
- Preparing and presenting regular reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to hotel leadership.
- Attending trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote the hotel and generate leads.
- Maintaining accurate records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Coordinating with operations, front office, F&B, and other departments to ensure excellent service delivery for group and event bookings.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in hotel/related hospitality sales role.
- Strong understanding of hospitality sales strategies and local market dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to close deals and meet/exceed targets.
- Proficiency in hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus.
