A dynamic, detail-oriented, and customer-focusedVenue Manageris needed to oversee the full operation of event and function spaces within a busy venue based in Berkshire. This role requires strong leadership and hospitality expertise to ensure seamless coordination of events and exceptional guest experiences from start to finish.

This stunning venue is based in Berkshire and is offering a salary of up to £55,000 for a 45 hour week.

Key Responsibilities for the Venue Manager role are:

  • Manage daily operations of conference rooms, ballrooms, banquet halls, and event spaces
  • Collaborate with sales, catering, and marketing teams to maximise bookings and venue use
  • Oversee event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown, meeting client and hotel standards
  • Deliver prompt, professional, and personalised service to guests and clients
  • Supervise and train venue staff.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the venue department
  • Monitor inventory and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally and promptly
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Housekeeping teams to deliver flawless events

Skills Required for the Venue Manager role:

  • 35 years of experience in venue, banquet, or event management within hospitality
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and tasks under pressure
  • Proficiency in event management software (Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite
