Role: HS&E Advisor
Contract length: Initial 12 months with 2 years' worth of project.
Pay Rate: 20ph
Location: Slough
Full-Time, flexible working role based in Slough, Berkshire, supporting the relocation of current offices.
Job Purpose:
SRG are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative organisation and support our clients operations as they prepare to move to a state-of-the-art facility in Surrey.
As well as supporting the decommissioning of the Slough site, and the transition to Surrey, you will be responsible for delivering the day-to-day aspects of the HSE & Wellbeing systems, whilst also supporting audits and continuous improvement activities.
You should be comfortable in providing HS&E opinion, guidance and support to our stakeholders (internal & external), as well as have experience in a previous HSE role
Job Accountabilities:
- Development and update of local HS&E procedures.
- Delivery of local workshops to compliment company procedures and policies.
- Coordinating/attending meetings representing HS&E systems and compliance across the UK & I remit.
- Support and undertake HS&E audits and assessments
- Ensure regulatory licenses are maintained and kept relevant
- Liaison to safety and environmental representatives
Education & Qualification:
- NEBOSH Certificate a minimum; with accreditation to IOSH at least at affiliate level.
- Preferably NEBOSH Diploma and/or Environmental qualification.
- Ideally degree or higher.
