Job Title: Music Teacher

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Farnham Common, currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a full-time position starting ASAP. The role is initially expected to run until Christmas, with the potential for extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Music Teachers seeking flexible teaching contracts—whether you're open to short-term or long-term placements—and looking to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and teach creative, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress to support achievement
  • Contribute to the school’s wider music provision, with potential involvement in extracurricular music activities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Degree in Music or a closely related discipline
  • Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level, ideally up to Key Stage 4
  • Passionate, dependable, and adaptable in approach to teaching and learning
  • Strong classroom presence with effective behaviour management skills
  • Confident in quickly integrating into new school environments and making an immediate impact
