The Electrical Fitter position is located in Colnbrook and is a 3-month contract that may lead to a permanent role.
The hourly rate for this position is up to £15.20 per hour PAYE.
Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Key responsibilities include reading electrical schematics, wiring systems, conducting tests, and troubleshooting faults.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 07:45 to 16:00.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and testing of electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, technical drawings, and safe working practices in a manufacturing environment.

Electrical Fitter Responsibilities:

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Wire electrical systems, panels, and components on machinery and equipment.
Assemble electrical components to meet production specifications and safety standards.
Conduct functional and continuity tests on electrical systems using test equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical systems, performing repairs or adjustments as needed.
Document work performed, test results, and materials used in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

The Electrical Fitter should have the following skills and experience:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Engineering, or a related field.
Skilled in panel wiring.
Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical principles and safe working practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Experience with electrical testing equipment.
