Maths Teacher - Slough
- A brand new specialist school in Slough are looking for a dedicated Maths teacher to join their new team starting in September 2025!
- They are committed to providing their students with a nurturing and inclusive environment for their students.
- They cater for students between Year 7 and Year 10.
- These students struggle with moderate to significant learning needs and learning disabilities.
- They need additional support in ensuring that they are able to access their education in the best way possible!
- They are looking for a Maths Teacher to inspire and create a warm and safe environment for their students.
- The successful Maths Teacher will also support learners with a range of additional needs, delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across years 7 to 10.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inclusive Maths lessons that have been tailored to individual learning needs.
- Use creative strategies to engage learners and build confidence in their literacy skills
- Work collaboratively with the SEN team, therapists and support staff
- Monitor students progress and contribute to their EHCP's
- Review individual learning plans
- Foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment
The successful Maths Teacher:
- Will hold QTS
- Experience teaching Maths, preferably in an SEN setting - mainstream teachers are also welcome!
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to student well being
