  • These students struggle with moderate to significant learning needs and learning disabilities.
  • They need additional support in ensuring that they are able to access their education in the best way possible!
  • They are looking for a Maths Teacher to inspire and create a warm and safe environment for their students.
  • The successful Maths Teacher will also support learners with a range of additional needs, delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across years 7 to 10.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inclusive Maths lessons that have been tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Use creative strategies to engage learners and build confidence in their literacy skills
  • Work collaboratively with the SEN team, therapists and support staff
  • Monitor students progress and contribute to their EHCP's
  • Review individual learning plans
  • Foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment

The successful Maths Teacher:

  • Will hold QTS
  • Experience teaching Maths, preferably in an SEN setting - mainstream teachers are also welcome!
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to student well being
