We are looking for a committed, proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, working with children who have high and complex special educational needs.

This is a hands-on role that requires a caring, practical approach to helping every child succeed both in and out of the classroom.

About the Role:
  • Supporting pupils with a range of high needs, including Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and physical disabilities.

  • Providing personal care (toileting, changing, feeding) with dignity and sensitivity.

  • Engaging pupils through sensory activities, differentiated learning, and 1:1 or small group support.

  • Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external specialists.

  • Proactively adapting support strategies to meet individual pupils’ needs.

About You:
  • Hold a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent qualification).

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.

  • Confident and willing to provide personal care and feeding support.

  • Proactive, hands-on, patient, and resilient, with a passion for helping every child achieve their best.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
