Job Title: SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator)

Salary: £39,000 - £48,100

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SENDCO to lead and develop our provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
The Role
As our SENDCO, you will:
- Champion inclusive education and support children with a range of needs to achieve their best outcomes.
- Coordinate and oversee all SEND provision across the school.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, external agencies, and the senior leadership team to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and support.
- Identify pupils’ needs and ensure personalised support plans are effectively implemented and reviewed.
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of teaching assistants and support staff.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it).
- A strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Experience of working with children with a range of SEND in a primary school setting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusive practice.
