Financial Controller - Drive Growth in a Thriving SME

Our client is an ambitious, fast-growing SME based in Birmingham Business Park, they're passionate about delivering outstanding services while fostering an exciting and supportive work environment. As they expand, they're looking for a Finance Manager to play a key role in shaping their financial success.

What You'll Do
  • Management Accounts & Reporting - Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheets, ensuring accurate financial insights.

  • Strategic Decision Support - Provide weekly reports, analysis, and insights to drive business growth.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting - Assist in annual budget planning and produce weekly cash flow forecasts.

  • Compliance & Accuracy - Perform balance sheet reconciliations, oversee VAT returns, and ensure financial integrity.

  • Ledger Oversight - Manage purchase invoices, payment run files, and oversee key financial processes.

  • Business Growth & Development - Continuously refine financial systems to support our ambitious expansion.

Who You Are
  • Qualified, QBE or Part-qualified accountant (study support available)

  • Highly organised with excellent self-management skills

  • Passionate about producing accurate financial data and driving insights
