This well-established construction company, based in Solihull, is seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join their positive and friendly finance team. Joining the finance team, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full end-to-end accounts payable process. This varied and hands-on position includes processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, preparing payments, resolving queries, producing financial reports, and assisting with month-end activities. What you will need:

  • Prior experience working in an accounts payable position or a similar role is key. Whilst not essential, experience working within the construction or manufacturing sector is advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Proficiency with either SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365, along with strong Excel skills is ideal.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
