This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous legal secretarial experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.You’ll play a key role in supporting fee earners with a variety of tasks, from drafting and formatting legal documents to managing case files and handling client communication with professionalism and care. If you’re someone who takes pride in being organised, accurate, and client-focused, this could be the perfect fit.Duties Include:

  • Provide proactive day-to-day support to fee earners, including preparing and formatting legal correspondence and case documents.
  • Organise and maintain digital and paper filing systems, ensuring records are up to date and easily accessible.
  • Manage incoming calls and client enquiries with professionalism.
  • Draft and revise documents using firm templates, ensuring consistency and compliance with internal standards.
  • Accurately transcribe dictated notes and legal content to support document turnaround.
  • Coordinate file opening and closing procedures in line with compliance and confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist with client onboarding and due diligence processes.
  • Maintain case management systems, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Carry out routine administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, post handling, and archiving of completed matters.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience supporting a busy conveyancing team or within a legal environment is essential.
  • A sharp eye for accuracy and detail.
  • Able to easily adapt and comfortable juggling a varied workload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional client experience.
  • A true team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a positive office culture.
  • Confident IT skills and familiarity with legal case management systems is a bonus.
  • Excellent document and typing skills.
