Role: Freight Forwarder
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

We’re working with a well-established logistics company in Birmingham that’s expanding its operations and looking for a talented freight professional to join their growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage end-to-end international shipments across air, sea, and road freight
- Coordinate collections and deliveries with carriers, hauliers, and overseas partners
- Handle customs documentation and clearance procedures accurately and efficiently
- Track consignments, manage pre-alerts, and provide regular client updates
- Deliver outstanding customer service from booking to final delivery
- Oversee invoicing, job costing, and ensure all documentation is compliant
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in UK freight forwarding
- Good knowledge of air OR sea OR road freight operations - training will be provided on any mode of freight you are not familiar with
- Confident understanding of customs processes and shipping documentation
- Experience using systems like Cargowise, Multifreight would be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills
- A proactive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to manage multiple shipments
