An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Allocations Advisor to join the housing department at one of Adecco's key public sector clients, in a full time (37 hours each week, Monday to Friday) temporary assignment, initially for 12 weeks.

This role will be to support the Tenancy Sustainment/Allocations Team and will be primarily based from our clients' offices in Chelmsley Wood, Solihull. This role is to work on a specific project, as our client is implementing a new allocations policy and this role is to contact customers who will be affected, updating and processing housing applications, and cleansing the housing register.

Therefore we are looking for housing professionals that have the following:

* Knowledge of using the Abritas Allocations System* Experience of working in the social housing sector and be used to dealing with housing allocations (part 6 housing allocations enquiries)* Experience of working with and understanding policies and processes* Competent IT skills* Good customer service skills* Good attention to detail* Experience of dealing with difficult customers and handling difficult conversations (via both email and telephone).

All applicants must be able to work in our client's offices in Chelmsley Wood (postcode B37 5HA) for five days each week (consideration regarding working from home may be given once fully trained after 4 weeks, however it will depend on the volume of queries they receive).
