Location: The Crescent, Taunton, TA1 4DY
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 2+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Manage diaries and coordinate meetings for Executive Directors and Lead Members.
  • Monitor and action emails, flagging urgent items and filtering non-essential content.
  • Organise travel, accommodation, and conference attendance.
  • Collate information for reports and committee responses.
  • Liaise with services and stakeholders to ensure timely communication and follow-up.
  • Provide cover for other ESOs during leave or absence.
Person Specification
  • Experienced in providing high-level administrative support.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities calmly and professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in diary management.
  • Desirable: Experience supporting senior leaders or working in a political or public sector environment.
