Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join one of our specialist college settings in the South Shore area of Blackpool. This rewarding role is ideal for a confident teacher with experience working with young people with complex and profound needs, and a desire to lead a supportive, skilled team.

The Role
This is a full-time SEN Teaching post working with learners aged 18–25 who have a wide range of complex learning difficulties, including profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). Many of the students are non-verbal, so a working knowledge of signing or Makaton would be highly beneficial.

The School
This vibrant specialist college offers a highly personalised curriculum tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. The college provides a supportive and inclusive environment that focuses on communication, life skills, and independence.

The college was graded ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted inspection, highlighting their commitment to high-quality education and care. As a member of a dedicated team, you’ll contribute to a setting that values teamwork, respect, and the development of every learner’s potential.

What we offer
As part of our team, you benefit from:

  • Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.)

  • Guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability).
