Mechanical Inspector – Day Shift - Mon – Thurs 40 hours

Permanent Immediate Start available.

HEC Precision Limited based near Heathrow, West London are an established subcontract manufacturer of precision CNC machined components primarily to the Defence & Aerospace sectors.

Due to the continued growth and re-investment in the business, coupled with high staff retention, there is a new position available for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Inspector.

Job Profile

Mechanical Inspector, you will be part of a highly skilled team of engineers in a clean and modern facility.

A working day will be varied and rewarding due to the range of parts and projects supported.

Training will be available when required and opportunities for progression encouraged.

Duties:

• CMM – Setting and Operating (PC-DMIS)

• Programming Offline an advantage but not essential (PC-DMIS)

• 1ST OFF Inspection and Final Inspection.

• Raising FAI Reports (Visual Fair Software)

• Inspecting Components to drawing using a range of equipment such as Micrometres, Height Gauges, Plug and Thread Gauges, Shadow Graph and CMM’s

Hours of Work:

• Standard 4 day (10 Hours) working week Monday to Thursday.
• Friday available for overtime.
• All hours over 40hrs per week is paid at x1.333hrs and Saturday x1.5 Sunday x 2
• 24 day Paid holiday (Based on 5 day week) + all National holidays.
