Are you an experienced, compassionate professional with a strong background in SEND? Were currently recruiting for a full-time, long-term SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Southam (near Leamington Spa). You will be working with students who have Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) and your role will be pivotal in supporting their learning and development.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or SLCN.
  • Confidence in working across EYFS/KS1/KS2 and supporting students with varying needs.
  • A calm, nurturing approach with strong behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to students individual needs, following EHCPs and personalised plans.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and readiness to fully commit to a long-term role.

Even Better If You Have:

  • Experience with communication strategies like PECs, Makaton, or similar tools.
  • A relevant qualification in SEND, Childcare, or Education.
  • Previous experience within specialist or alternative provisions.
  • A team mindset and a willingness to go above and beyond for the students.
