About the Role
A well-established business is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support their busy finance team. This is a maternity cover position with potential to go permanent, due to anticipated internal changes later this year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Managing the purchase ledger

Processing weeklyincome reporting and resolving queries

Reconciling financial and bank transactions

Producing weekly financial reports

Investigating invoice and payment discrepancies

Completing BACS payment runs
-
Assisting with payroll
-
Liaising with colleagues and customers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
-
AAT qualification (Level 3 or 4) or equivilant
-
At least 2 years? experience in a finance or accounts role
-
High attention to detail and a proactive approach
-
Strong communication skills
-
Confidence working independently and within a team
We?re aiming to have someone in place next month to ensure a smooth handover and training period.
