Quality Engineer (Progression to Manager)

£37,000-£42,000 + Training + Progression + Company Benefits Are you a Quality Engineer or similar with experience carrying out ISO Audits looking to step up into a technical role will you be the go-to person for all H&S and Quality process within a well-established yet tight-knit Electrical Systems company who pride themselves on support and development of staff?This company are a well-established Electrical Supply Systems company who have continually grown since their establishment in 1976, whilst building a loyal customer base across numerous industries. Due to an ever-increasing workload, they are now looking for a new Health and Safety / Quality Officer to join their team.In this varied role you will be the go-to person in the business all Health and Safety and Quality processes within the business as you carry out ISO and QA Audits. Further to this you will conduct risk assessments and investigate any relevant incidents, oversee compliance and paperwork in addition to working closely with the MD and other members of the senior leadership team.This role would suit a Quality Engineer looking for an autonomous opportunity ot step up into a leadership position within a tight-knit yet leading Electrical Supply Systems company who offer ongoing opportunities training to develop your career. The Role:

  • Carry out QA audits and ensure adherence to relevant ISO standards
  • Develop and implement safety processes
  • Undertake risk assessments and update relevant documentation
  • Respond to and investigate any safety incidents
  • Work closely with MD and other members of senior leadership team

The Person:

  • Quality Engineer or similar
  • Experience carrying out QA and ISO audits
  • Commutable to Southampton
