Due to an internal initiative, a brand-new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join a respected organisation in Southampton on a 2-year fixed-term contract (with a strong potential to become permanent and move into a permanent leadership role). This strategic role offers the chance to shape commercial operations from the ground up, influence meaningful change across a values-driven setting, and unlock new revenue streams through creative partnerships and facility use. In return, you will receive a competitive benefits package offering, 1-2 days remote working, enhanced pension and great onsite facilities - to mention a few! Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll lead the development and implementation of a long-term commercial strategy, while engaging internal stakeholders and external partners to drive sustainable growth.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing a long-term commercial strategy
  • Identifying and testing new revenue streams (e.g. holiday clubs, theatre hire)
  • Leading the implementation of new systems including booking software
  • Engaging internal stakeholders to drive a commercial culture
  • Evaluating ROI and presenting to governors and leadership
  • Building external partnerships and managing commercial contracts
What you will need:
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Business partnering or commercial strategy experience
  • Experience working in a role such as Commerical Manager / Finance Business Partner / Finance Analyst / Management Accountant
