FRA Carpenter

We are looking for a qualified FRA Carpenter to join our Clients Property Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of their properties through skilled carpentry work related to fire risk assessments.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Carry out fire risk assessment (FRA) related carpentry tasks within properties.
  • Upgrade and refurbish existing fire doors and build electrical meter cupboards.
  • Ensure all carpentry works meet strict standards for fire resistance and safety.
  • Travel between sites as required, with a company-provided van and fuel card to cover business travel expenses.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the Residential/Housing sector.
  • Minimum of NVQ level 2 in Fire Door Maintenance and Repairs.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
  • Comfortable with mobile and paper-based work reporting systems.
