Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Co-ordinator to work for a friendly, fast-growing company based in Totton.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of engineers’ travel, service reports, spare parts, and customer interactions. This is a key support role and will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties include:

  • Organise engineers' global travel requirements, including flights, hotels, tunnels, and visas.
  • Communicate with customers and agents regarding engineers' attendance and updates during service work.
  • Work closely with the parts dispatch and Workshop departments to ensure the timely dispatch of spare parts and tools for on-site jobs.
  • Maintain and update databases to ensure all service details, reports, and customer interactions are logged accurately.
  • Support the Service Managers and team with various administrative tasks, including preparation of service quotations, documents, and sourcing new workshops in key locations.

You will be required to be on-call one week per month, providing support outside regular working hours on an on-call rota.

Responsibilities while on-call include:

    • Answering urgent calls from customers related to breakdowns or urgent service needs.
    • Monitoring and responding to urgent emails or inquiries as they arise.
    • Supporting the coordination of emergency service requirements in collaboration with the engineering team.

Personal requirements:

  • Proven experience in a service coordination or administrative role, within logistics or engineering sector is preferred.
  • Strong organisational
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer focus.
  • Experience in coordinating travel, liaising with engineers, and an understanding of working across multiple time zones is highly desirable.

Hours: Monday to Friday 0800-1700

Salary:£28,000 -£30,000 plus "on call incentive"
