Production Manager – £55k–£65k – Southampton
Production Manager required by a fast-growing SME that designs, manufactures, tests, and calibrates advanced sensor-based mechanical and electrical assemblies - supporting the water industry worldwide. The role involves leading a skilled team, improving processes for quality and efficiency, and helping the business achieve key ISO accreditations.
The role:
- Lead and develop a small, experienced production team.
- Improve processes in manufacturing, testing, and calibration.
- Collaborate with design and engineering on productionisation.
- Drive continuous improvement across quality, cost, and delivery.
About you:
- Manufacturing, testing, and/or calibration background (sensor experience a plus).
- Mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge (degree desirable).
- Proven track record in raising quality standards and streamlining operations.
- Familiar with ISO 9001; awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001.
