Project Manager – Engineering & Manufacturing (NPD/NPI)

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing business that designs and develops complex mechanical products contributing to cleaner, more sustainable power generation.

As a key figure within the team, you’ll lead the delivery of new product development (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI) projects—working across design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to bring high-integrity products from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
  • Drive full lifecycle project management for technically advanced NPD/NPI programmes.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, operations, and testing.

  • Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, while ensuring compliance to quality standards.

  • Provide clear project structure, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices within a fast-paced, innovation-led environment.

What we're looking for in a Project Manager:
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).

  • Experience delivering engineering projects within a manufacturing setting.

  • Background in complex product development—ideally involving precision or high-performance mechanical systems.

  • Strong communicator and organiser with a proactive, delivery-focused approach.

  • Familiarity with working in a highly regulated or quality-driven industry is beneficial.
