Project Manager – Engineering & Manufacturing (NPD/NPI)

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing business that designs and develops complex mechanical products contributing to cleaner, more sustainable power generation.

As a key figure within the team, you’ll lead the delivery of new product development (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI) projects—working across design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to bring high-integrity products from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

Drive full lifecycle project management for technically advanced NPD/NPI programmes.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, operations, and testing.
Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, while ensuring compliance to quality standards.
Provide clear project structure, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices within a fast-paced, innovation-led environment.

What we're looking for in a Project Manager:

Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
Experience delivering engineering projects within a manufacturing setting.
Background in complex product development—ideally involving precision or high-performance mechanical systems.
Strong communicator and organiser with a proactive, delivery-focused approach.
Familiarity with working in a highly regulated or quality-driven industry is beneficial.
