Senior Project Manager - 18 Month FTC

Our client is offering an exceptional opportunity to join their IT Service, iSolutions, as a Senior Project Manager on an 18-month FTC.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will deliver projects that change how the organisation uses IT to work. You will join the IT Portfolio community of Project Managers and Business Analysts, running a wide range of projects and programmes to improve current services and transform the staff and student experience for a diverse community.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end IT projects with significant business change.
  • Manage projects requiring technical integration, upgrades, and data migration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Lead the redevelopment and continuous improvement of structured models for service transitions.
  • Ensure successful delivery of the portfolio of change initiatives.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Significant Project Management experience.
  • Experience with student systems is a bonus.
  • Professional qualification or postgraduate degree in Project Management or IT discipline.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent agile/traditional project management qualification.
  • Proven project and people management skills.
  • Experience with ITIL methodologies and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Excel, Word, MS Project).
  • Technical IT background.
  • Familiarity with IT in a Higher Education environment.
  • ITIL v4 MP (Managing Professional) qualification or similar.
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification.
