An outstanding school in Southampton is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Permanent Teacher of Geography to primarily teach A-Level Geography and contribute to the continued growth and success of our Sixth Form Geography cohort. You will play a key role in inspiring students to choose and excel in A-Level Geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Geography lessons primarily to A-Level students, showcasing the relevance and excitement of the subject.
- Contribute to strategies for promoting and recruiting students to A-Level Geography.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sixth Form students, acting as a mentor and guide.
- Contribute to the A-Level Geography curriculum, ensuring it is engaging and meets the needs of our ambitious students.
- Collaborate with the Geography Department and Sixth Form team to promote the subject.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in Geography or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching A-Level Geography and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A proactive approach to student recruitment and engagement.
