- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting students with mental health needs or disabilities
As a Specialist Mentor, you will provide 1-on-1 support, helping students develop organizational skills, manage stress, and build confidence as independent learners. You will work with students throughout the academic year, both in-person and online, tailoring your approach to each individual's needs. This Specialist Mentor role requires adherence to the DfE's qualification framework for DSA-funded students. The Specialist Mentor will maintain confidentiality and report to Randstad.
Where are you going to work?You will work with university students in Southampton, providing both in-person and online support. The Specialist Mentor position offers a hybrid work model that allows for flexible scheduling.
